I just wanted to let you know that the Trifosi prescription sunglasses I recently ordered are fantastic. I am a retired OB-GYN and have taken up a golf habit and the "golfers" tint is really great. Thank you very much for supporting this request. It certainly reinforces my conviction to using Heavyglare to purchase quality eyewear (now on, I believe, my 4th pair from HG), as well as confidence in Heavyglare for aftersales service.
Though using remote vendors to purchase some products has become commonplace to the extent that brick-and-mortar is no longer the presumed "go-to" for a lot of products, I have to admit that buying something as vital as eyewear, particularly as specialized as sun protected prescription wear, can be somewhat daunting. My experience with HG, again, has proven that my confidence in Heavyglare is not misplaced.

My apologies for not getting back with you sooner, but I wanted to give it some time before I emailed you so I could have a while to wear my new sunglasses and give you
my honest opinion. So, after almost 2 months, all I can say is....these sunglasses are fricking awesome! I am extremely happy that I could get the WileyX frames I wanted,
and also extremely happy that you found a lab that could put my high prescription in a high wrap frame like the WileyX P17. I am extremely satisfied. The only thing I can say
that is a possible negative is there is a bit of eyelash contact if I have the glasses pushed all the way to the bridge of my nose, like them resting against my forehead. But, I never
have worn any glasses like that. I just put them on and when my eyelashes don't touch, or with absolute minimal contact, I'm good! No, it doesn't look like they are falling off my
face, but the lenses are thick, and I understand it's because of two reasons....one is my prescription, and two, it's because they have to be safety rated to match the frames.
I want to thank you so much for your help with my purchase from you. I am more than satisfied. As you know, with people that have high vision correction like mine, it's difficult
to get sunglasses in the style and frame that a person wants, but you got it done! I see great out of them! Good job, and well done! I couldn't be happier!

I just received my frames today and I wanted to thank you for doing such an excellent job on my glasses.
I had already tried the frames on at a local sunglass store to ensure they would fit my face but my biggest concern was how the Rx would turn out in the frames.
I had previously ordered Rx sunglasses from Framesdirect.com with the same Rx and I had some real difficulties with blurred vision.
I don't know what they did to the lenses (perhaps the optical center was off or the entire Rx was wrong); I had to constantly tilt my head or adjust the frames on my face to see clearly. I was very frustrated and upset as there was no returns allowed on Rx sunglasses; I had spent hundreds of dollars on these frames and they weren't even Rx wrap frames.
The frames you made for me are perfect! My vision was crystal clear when I first put on the frames; no blurry vision and no need to 'adjust to the frames' like the other frames.
Perhaps it is the Shamir Autograph lens that is the reason for my crystal clear vision?
Whatever the reason, I am very happy with my Rx wraps and I regret that I didn't originally order from Heavyglare.com in the first place.

I’ve bought two pairs of Rx sunglasses from HG over the past 10 years. Grant has always been responsive and very helpful, and the glasses have been great. I recently had cataract surgery and got lens implants to correct my astigmatism; I no longer need glasses except for reading. I just emailed Grant about getting non-Rx lenses put in a 5 year old pair of Rudy Project glasses I love. Grant got right back to me and said it won’t be an issue. I am very happy and will be sending the glasses back for the switch! As always, wonderful customer service!

I purchased the Von Zipper Paco sunglasses from this site back in 2006. I still use them to this day, and am always complimented
on the glasses. You have some of the best frames. and the prescription for the lenses is dead on, with no distortion on a wrap around frame. Great job there!

I couldn't find a local place to put prescription lenses my Oakleys because of the curved lens. What you guys did is great! Not only can I see better with the prescription, but the lens tint and even the color I see when looking through the lens is so close to the actual Oakley lens that I can't even tell they aren't the originals.

Got my new prescription sunglasses yesterday. They're perfect: I saw things in 20/20 HD when on my bike ride. I don't know how they manage to correct both myopia and astigmatism over the entire curved surface of the Oakley Flak Jackets, but they do.

After receiving his glasses yesterday, Mike went on a run this morning and stated he was able to run confidently for the first time in a long while. He said his glare was cut significantly. Due to his eye disease(retinitis pigmentosa), Mike had purchased a cane to help in on those difficulty, glaring days. With those cocoon glasses, he was getting by and did not make the step to use his cane. With his new prescription sunglasses, I don’t think he’ll need the cane for a long time…..hopefully never, with the help of science. Thank you so much for your assistance. You have no idea. I had actually asked for non-progressive bifocals, as I had been told that with the wraparound frames I might experience some distortion with progressive bifocals that would bother me. But somehow... I got progressives. But no problem, I don't notice any distortion. And I do prefer progressives.
On my previous sunglasses I did not get bifocals at all, thinking that I would only be wearing them when active outside and therefore would only need distance. I was wrong about that, and frequently had to take off my shades when outside in the sun to read something. Now that's no longer a problem. :-)
